The kids are back to school and allthough many school districts have banned baked goods in the classrooms, I have found a solution for the mom that is still allowed to bake for a child's birthday or special ocassion.
I was doing some web surfing looking for some new sites for new products and I came across "Cherry Brook Kitchen".
I do have allergy free recipes that I use for my customers, egg free and dairy free. But I use nuts in my shop so I can not advertise nut or peanut free baking. I am going to try some of these mixes and see how they are.
There is a large variety of products. Many are available in stores near me here in North Attleboro. Check it out. There is a store finder and you can also buy online.
I would rather know that the product was free of allergins, rather than guessing. It would be the extra cost for the product.

Being an RN makes me very aware of the food allergies that children can have, many of which can be life threatening. I am glad to see that you are handling this responsibly. Thanks Rosie!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad for the concern you've shown to people who are allergic to some types of food. I for one am allergic to seafoods, so there are a lot of foods I can't eat. Three years ago, I nearly died because I ate tuna. I didn't know at that time I was allergic to it. At least your customers will not undergo what I went through.^^
