My first giveaway for my 100 TH Post plus 1

Hi everyone! I can't believe that I have reached my 100Th post, plus one actually!

I am having a really great time blogging, sharing my recipes, tricks, tips and baking advise with all of the wonderful blogging friends that I have made around the world.

I have won awards, been made a featured publisher on FOOD BUZZ, have been featured on The Cake Channel, and even had one of my cakes featured by the Food Network for Ace of Cakes. It has been a really exciting 6 months.

I know I have not reached my potential and I am still challenging myself all of the time so I can remain fresh and give you the most in-depth and up to date info on cake design and decorating. I want to be able to reach you in a way that you will know who to come to if you have any questions regarding baking and decorating and feel at ease to ask questions and ask for recipes that you can't find. Or just a simple question on a recipe that you already make, but would like to improve it.

I have received so many lovely compliments on my design and it is a wonderful feeling to know that the work that I do is appreciated by so many people.

So in honor of my 100 TH plus one post I am offering my first "Giveaway". I asked my all knowing daughter" TheWiseYoung Mommy". aka Petra for advise seeing she has one of the most popular blogs on the web right now. She said to do a random "Give way" not a contest this time so here it is.Please read past the description of the item so you will get the rules for entering the giveaway.

    Yesterday,I just made Vacherin with almond croquant and icing the meringue lattices was so much of a pain with a butter-knife :( and then icing with a plastic ziplock cone..(phew! u can imagine my plight!)


    I want to be able to bake for my family..and my kids to come...so tht they can be proud of their mama. (a dream ...but i am trying hard...and well...)

  49. My mother has been decorating cakes for years. Weddings, anniversaries , birthdays or baby showers you name it she has done it. She could of started her own cake making business and made hundreds of dollars but instead she did it for free for family and friends just for fun. I found it to be very hard tedious work and had no idea how she found it to be fun amongst all that hard work. I would love to win this to give it to her for making so many people happy on their special day that normally could not of been able to afford paying a caterer.     I would LOVE to have my name put in the hat because I do like to decorate cakes. Unfortunately, when we lived in Texas most of our belongings were in a HUMID storage unit. It ruined most of my stuff, including all my cake decorating stuff. My youngest daughter wanted me to make her a TinkerBell cake for her Birthday in November, so I started buying some decorating tools again. But I am missing so much still. This would be such a sweet blessing of a win!!!
